That “rogue engineer” died from liver failure due to abuse of alcohol. That “rogue engineer” stole tech equipment and was found to be drinking on the job (fully documented). That “rogue engineer” went on a rampage of spreading false information all over the Internet. Out of the very respect/care you speak of, I helped that “rogue engineer” get into rehab very early on. That “rogue engineer” received a lot of help from friends, family and strangers but essentially took his own life in the end. The amount of respect I or anyone else should have for that amount of immense selfishness and destructive behavior, is limited.

Just because someone is an alcoholic doesn’t mean they can be irresponsible and hurt others. My condolences go out to the destroyed family that worked with him for so many years.
